What is EVA
EVA
is used for many applications besides film
EVA lowers the seal initiation temperature and melting point of PE film.
Application :
In low percentages,
2% EVA for bread bags ;
4% EVA : for produce ice bags
6% EVA : for frozen food packaging
18% EVA for footware
In higher percentages, more or less 20% EVA:
it is used for low melt/total batch inclusion bags.
Higher percentage EVA’s are soft and tacky.
33% EVA : For Solar panels
it require a bonding layer. It is too sticky to make into film. It must be made by the case process.
